Ana Hickman is one of the recent string of Brazilian beauties to take the modeling world by storm. One of her unique claims to fame is holding a Guinness Book of World Records title for having the longest legs out of any model: they measure 48 inches of her total 73 inches of height (6'1"). She is a curvy, feminine model, and her looks follow the original supermodel criteria for beauty-wholesome as well as sexy.
She was born March 1, 1981 in Brazil to German parents. They were poor immigrants who had to feed the family by farming. Ana spent her childhood planting and working, never knowing she would be destined for the world's stage. However, by the age of 13 she started her modeling career and even won numerous beauty pageants. When she was visiting relatives in Sao Paulo in 1996, she was convinced to compete in a modeling contest. Although she was reluctant, she did relent. It was a good thing she did: she was in the top three winners and got a contract with Mega Models. Four years later, she also signed on with ID Models.
Soon she was signed with other agencies and traveling worldwide. She has been called a favorite subject by several photographers, and for this reason she gets many photo contracts. However, perhaps realizing that she would not be a supermodel forever, she has created a collection of accessories and makeup, as well as swimsuits and eyewear. The line is called, simply, Ana Hickmann. She and her husband, who she married at 17, also own a photography studio and DJ agency.
Anna Hickmann is one of Brazil's most highly paid models, and she well- loved in her native land. When she isn't modeling, she does charity work; but she still has a dream of being the number one supermodel.
